What BrowsingBee is
BrowsingBee is a connector for AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT. When you ask the assistant to open a page, search the web, take a screenshot or read a PDF, the assistant calls BrowsingBee, our hosted browser fetches that content and returns it to the assistant. Everything else in your conversation stays with the assistant’s provider and never reaches us.
What we collect
| Account | Your Google account email, display name and profile picture, used to create and identify your BrowsingBee account. We do not get your Google password or any other Google data. |

| Call log | For every tool call: your account, the tool name, the host name of the page (for example en.wikipedia.org, never the full address or query string), whether it succeeded, how long it took and the size of the response. Kept for 90 days for abuse prevention and debugging. |
| Screenshots | Images you ask for are stored for 24 hours so the assistant can show them, then deleted automatically. |
| Connector tokens | OAuth tokens that let your assistant call BrowsingBee on your behalf, stored as hashes. Revoke them any time by removing the connector in Claude or ChatGPT. |
| Technical | Standard server logs with IP address and user agent, kept by Cloudflare for up to 7 days. |
We do not store page content. The text of pages, search results and PDFs is returned to the assistant and discarded. We do not build profiles, sell data or show ads.
Who processes it
- Cloudflare (Workers, D1, R2, Browser Rendering): hosts the service, runs the browser and stores the data above. Data is processed in Cloudflare’s global network.
- Google: sign-in only.
- Anthropic or OpenAI: the assistant provider you chose receives the content BrowsingBee returns, under their own privacy terms.
- Vercel and DataFast: host this marketing site and count page views on it without cookies.
The websites you open through BrowsingBee see a request from Cloudflare’s network with our user agent (see the bot page). They do not see your identity or IP address.
Retention and deletion
Screenshots: 24 hours. Call log: 90 days. Usage counts and account: until you delete the account. To delete everything, email hey@browsingbee.com from the Google address you signed in with; we remove the account, tokens, usage rows and logs within 7 days.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold, correct it, or delete it by emailing hey@browsingbee.com. If you are in the EU/UK you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We respond within 30 days.
Children
BrowsingBee is not for anyone under 13, and under 18 users need a parent or guardian to agree to the terms.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we update the date above and tell signed-in users by email.
